Our amazing FIPRO® Core Marine Panels have gained us a reputation for creating top-notch products. These panels are designed with accuracy to effortlessly blend both style and function, resulting in panels that are fire-resistant while meeting the needs of even the most meticulous naval architects, engineers, and designers. The range of surfaces includes high-pressure laminates, custom high-pressure laminates, veneers, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and marker boards. These panels are extremely versatile, making them the perfect choice for a variety of purposes such as walls, joiner panels, linings, ceilings, and floors in both living quarters and public areas.
What makes our marine panels unique is their composition. Okay…brace yourself, here comes the science. We utilize vermiculite, a natural mineral from the mica-minerals group, as the core material for our panels. By subjecting the raw vermiculite to high-temperature heat treatment, it expands into a lightweight aggregate. This expanded material is then combined with inorganic binders and pressed into boards. Our marine panels are completely free of asbestos and other harmful mineral fibers, making them safe and non-toxic for all marine environments…and don’t forget they look gorgeous too!
How do our panels stand up to our competitors’ softcore and honeycomb panels? We win hands down in durability, range of fire certifications, a wide range of finishes, and installation safety! Honeycomb panels cannot be used in any setting above a C-class fire rating while softcore panels cannot be used in any setting above an A-30 fire rating. However, our amazing FIPRO® Core Marine Panels run the gamut of C-class, B-0, B-15, A-0, A-15, and A-60 fire ratings!
